Joining the Société ethnomycologique de Genève means taking part in a space dedicated to the relationships between fungi, knowledge, environments and societies.
The SEMG welcomes people interested in mycology, ethnomycology, production, research, transmission, the arts, food, popular knowledge and practices related to fungi.
Participate
Joining the Society means supporting a space for research, documentation, transmission and encounter dedicated to ethnomycology.
Members take part in the life of the SEMG and contribute to the development of its spaces: library, Journal of Ethnomycology, SEMG Academy, workshop, studio and public events.
The SEMG can be supported through donations, volunteering, equipment, documentary resources, technical skills, partnerships or participation in the Society’s activities.
Every form of support helps an independent structure dedicated to fungal knowledge, its preservation and its transmission to grow.
Financial support
Donations and financial support allow the SEMG to develop its activities, enrich its library, produce content, organize encounters, support the Journal of Ethnomycology and bring its projects to life.
